Reta Ellison, Lead Medication Aide at the Elliott Residence has been nominated as the OHCA (Oregon Health Care Association) Champion of the Month for June 2009. Reta has worked for the Elliott Residence at Marian Estates in Sublimity, Oregon for over 5 years. During her time at Marian Estates she has gone above and beyond with everything she does. Reta has been known to call in on her days off to check-in and make sure the resident’s are all okay, especially if one has fallen ill or if another has returned from the hospital. She cares about the needs of the residents. Reta has always been there for her co-workers and resident’s trying to improve the quality of care and work that is performed in the facility. The residents all speak very highly of her. She comes to work for the residents and she loves what she does every day – you don’t have to ask her, it shows. OHCA recognizes Reta for her contributions to enhancing the quality of life for residents, family members, the community, and to the working environment for staff and co-workers.
